I was offered a commisioned job designing for an android platform game and I'm so stumped. I accepted the offer but I feel kinda bad because I don't know the first thing about it. Does anyone else know how to create character sprites? Here is the rejected prototype I created. It wasn't quite what the group was looking for so it's back to the drawing board (literally).

Didn't they tell you what they wanted their creatures to look like? Do you know what the game is about? Do they have other graphics already? I can't imagine that there'll just be one creature to move around in the game. Do you have to do additional sides? I can't see just one stagnant character moving through the background.

I've never done computer graphics but 'sprite' is just a geeky word for a character that moves against the back ground.
