Fettucine Alfredo, homemade veggie beef soup, and garlic breadsticks. It's a little hotter than it's been lately today, but overall there's a fall feeling in the air that makes me want to cook comfort foods. I better start getting religious about walking/running as soon as the kids are in school!

Chicken cordon bleu, mac and cheese (for kiddo) and broccoli.

Yup! I thought today would be a good day to use the crock pot. DD is in her pool. Hot days. Cool nights. I love it.

No idea. Something easy, we've got a busy night.

Anyone know how to cook parsnips? My son wants to try them and I'm clueless.

You can toss them in flour and sautee them in butter till tender, drain and eat. Kind of like a french fry. Can coat them in olive oil and seasoning then bake them at 450 till done. can use them in a home made cole slaw.
