There is only 1 school in my county and it's on the other side. That's a relief considering DD will be switching schools next year.
There aren't any in my district on the list. The high school and Jr High that I went to are on the list and I'm not surprised. They weren't great schools when I went there and they have gotten considerably worse since then.
There are 4 in my county and I am not surprised at all. I would never live in those areas or even close to them. And I would never send my kids there!
There are some from my county, but none from our district. Since they don't list districts I'm not sure which district all of the failing schools fall within, but the ones that I do recognize don't surprise me.
Nothing in my district...but we live near Allentown School district and will be moving closer to Philadelphia. Scary...it is the reason that we are looking across the boarder into DE!
I really feel sorry for those who live in Philly, it is a shame that so many Philly schools are on the list and I wonder what is being done about it.
I didn't see any schools in my area on the list, which isn't surprising at all to me.
Ours isn't on there but I'm surprised that it isn't. We homeschool anyway, so it doesn't matter.I noticed that the school my husband graduated from is on there.
