Christmas is less than 5 months away. Have you started shopping yet?
Yes. Only because back in May, Kmart had their Winter jammies on sale for $3, so I got both girls a pair.
Yep a few things :) My hubby ordered some toys from QVC during their Christmas in July sale. We also ordered some yummy cookies in tins for teachers gifts etc that won't ship until December. Not much but it is a start.
Yep. I shop the clearance sales year round. Target has their toy clearance going on right now. I also plan to make some x-stitch gifts, so I'll be starting on them soon.
Nope, I haven't. Though I have all the gifts figured out, I think. Except for my son's.I can't believe we are talking about it already. It's coming so fast!
Nope, I won't even start thinking about Christmas shopping until after Thanksgiving.
No. My parents we usually just give a gift card. We don't have anyone else besides Jonathan. We will see where he is stationed ( states or outside the states ) to see what it is he wants/needs before we would be buying for him.
Each other, that is easy.
Nope, not yet! I think I will soon though. We are heading for some flea markets and stuff in the next couple of weeks, so I'll look around for things that are unique.
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who hasn't even thought about it. I basically only buy for my own boys though and my 2 nephews since they are still little. My husband's side does some silly gift game that you buy a gender neutral $5 gift, kids buy kids gifts and grown ups buy grown ups gifts. Kids trade gifts with other kids and grown ups with other grown ups.
Anyway, I typically begin shopping in October since the money from my Christmas savings account gets transferred on Oct 1. I have it set up to have $10 automatically transferred into the savings every week and then have $520 to spend on Christmas. I do Christmas and birthday shopping at the same time since my youngest son has a birthday in October and my oldest has a December birthday.
