Needing a Nap

Having Fibromyalgia causes a lot sleepless nights & then of course a lot of sleepy mornings.

What are some of your best get to sleep steps or when you can't sleep steps? Warm milk? Cup of tea? Do you have a get to bed routine? Do you never have sleep problems? Melatonin? Tv to sleep to? No tv to sleep to? White noise machine?

Give me your go to things.

I am a little warm blooded these days, but if I'm cool enough, I use warm milk, heated in the microwave and then I add a splash of vanilla and a bit of sugar. Usually works like a charm. If it doesn't 1 Tylenol pm tablet. Hope you are able to get some good rest soon, Michelle.

That is a good one. Course if I get too interested, hmm. LOL. Could try it.

Milk & I aren't friends, but the Tylenol Pm does work some. ;)

Thanks for the rest soon. I hope so. It is just how it is.

I have a hard time sleeping due to menopause, the night sweats are killer!  I have to have a fan on year round, the window has to be open when it is chilly at night, and I wear nothing.  lol  I doubt that those will help you sleep though, maybe in a few years.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome does the same. I have no problem falling asleep I just can't seem to stay asleep. When it gets really bad I have to resort to taking an anti anxiety med that my doctor prescribed for bedtime use.

Someone I know swears by the ZZZ quil, did NOTHING for me. Sigh. Nyquil will work one night, the next night, it will keep me awake the whole night. Always have and I don't know why :(
