For each holiday I will host a holiday themed dinner and a movie for my in laws and the kids.

What are your holiday traditions?

We only have a set routine for Christmas......and that's so we have a reason to duck out of my inlaw's house quickly....lol.

That sounds like fun.  I make Christmas brunch for my whole family each year.

That's a great one!

We do a theme for pumpkin carving
Each year, and throughout the year we learn about holidays as they come up.

Dh and I are agnostic and teach our kids about all religions, including pagan celebrations, so as they come up we learn about them and maybe do something fun for it.
We had a Dawali party last year.

Our traditions are changing this year.  My father passed away in August and my mother will be joining us for the holidays.  She will be a HUGE part of everything from now on.  I love her so much and it makes me happy that she's going to be with us....making her famous pies.  Bye bye Mrs. Smith!  ;)
