I just read on WXII's website that McCrory has signed his 1st bill. He's working with the Dept of Education to implement new high school diplomas. According to the article, the diploma will make it obvious whether the child is ready for college or vocational training or both. It seems a little bit weird to me....what do y'all think?
where did you find it? the article i read was very short & pretty much said exactly what i put in the post. i would love to read the details.
Quoting JustThe10ofUs:I looked it up and there's a lot more to it than what was first explained.
Quoting kellynh:This seems like something totally stupid to sign in as his "first" seriously... Thumbs down...
Quoting JustThe10ofUs:
All but one of mine are homeschooled too.
Quoting almondpigeon:
that was my 1st question too since my kids are homeschooled.
Quoting JustThe10ofUs:
I don't agree with it either. Who makes the decision over what label is put on the diploma? The school?? What about homeschooled children?
