Apple picking question?

Dh keeps saying we need to go apple picking soon. Isn't it a little early? I always think picking season is later in fall

Usually u need to go by the end of September before columbus day, but this year they are ready early which also means be careful cause the bees will be around. Macs and cortlands are ready and all the others will be soon after. Macs and cortlands are the best to bake with.

We went this weekend to pick. There are early and late season apples.

It is early but the apples are ready early this year, mac has been open for a few wks already, they have quite a few different varieties available already, im waiting for the cortlands bc those are my fav

Nope I checked last week and applecrest in hampton falls was already open. The weather we have been having started the season really early, which means it will end early too :(
