Sooo should not have clicked on this. My son came home from school emotional and asked for a nap. Let him go and he just woke up (nearly 3 hours later) fever of 103.5

Wow that's sad, I know last year Alex ended up so dehydrated he ended up in the er . I didn't wait. But the flu shot doesn't protect from all strains.
Still so sad :(

My 11 month old has been over 103. All day w ibuprofen & Tylenol on board. Ear infection & pneumonia. Poor babies.

I just got some ibuprofen into him so hoping it works quickly. I'm so bummed he has his play on thurs they don't do it other years just in first grade. I think he's going to be super sad if he misses it. 

I hope your little one is feeling better soon.

Me too. Already pumping the liquids and just had a dose of meds. Hopefully they both help quickly and this doesn't turn out to be the flu but some little virus. Here's to hoping!
