Anyone's dh travel for work?

Posted by   + Show Post

Dh travels ALOT.

So I kinda feel like a single mom half the time.  And the "friends" I have don't really get it.  A lot of " must be nice" comments.

It's not that it's bad that he travels. It's just a totally different day when he's on the road versus working at home. And no one seems to understand that.

anyone else?

It's hard
Although mine doesn't travel he owns a restaurant
He can be gone from 9 am til midnight and a day off is rare right now
It is very hard

My husband used to work for RGIS. There was one month when he was away during the week and home on weekends. It sucked going to bed 5 nights a week alone. Now he works 3rd shift so I go to bed 5 nights a week alone, but luckily I get to wake up cuddled to him, but he then sleeps all morning so I am alone with DD until I leave for work. Going to bed alone sucks.

Sorry to hear that. It sucks with me cuz when he has nights off I am working nights cuz I can't during the week as he does nights then. So we never get a full day together :(
