Natural Easter eggs

So I've posted before about how our chickens lay Easter eggs. Dd separated them this morning (for some odd reason) so i took a quick pic. So of course they are dirty and not good lighting- but they are fun.

Thats cool! Do different kinds of chickens lay the white vs brown eggs? or do you get a mix from one? I know nothing about chickens lol

Some of ours lay brown eggs- our aracaunas lay pink, blue and "Easter egg" colors.

They are a lot of work, but they are like pets. They get excited To see you, and will come running. They like treats.
