My town was offering composters as part of earth day or week, whatever, and I ordered one.  It arrives on the 20th and I'm hoping it comeswith instructions.

Does anyone compost?

where do you keep your scraps before walking them outside?

We were going to but it seemed a little complicated lol. It had to be part natural (leaves/tiny sticks/grass shavings) part scraps but it had to be a certain % and I just got a little over whelmed and decided not to. =\ Some day I'll try again. Good luck to you though! I hope you like it and I hope someone else is doing it and can give you some tips.

You could keep them in a zip lock baggie by the side of the sink and bring them out daily or every other day...

I've wanted to compost, but it does seem a bit complicated. With the percentages.

Im in the city so i dont think my neighbors would appreciate it. We do put our brush and leaves in a part of the yard to use as compost when it finally breaks down. It helped alot with my veggie garden last yr. Im hoping theres more for this yr
