 When my in-laws still hosted Thanksgiving in years past, they would sometimes do an Italian Thanksgiving.  Which was fine with me because I could eat Italian food every day if I had to!  LOL

well we used to have 2 meats like Turkey and a roast or ham

Back the first year DH and I were dating... he and I went out to dinner with his parents for Thanksgiving.... We did order "Thankgiving" dinner for dinner at the restaurant but truly it was horrible, it was worse than what you could have gotten from a Hungry Man Dinner.  We still joke about it each year.
