Buying a house can be very stressful!

Posted by   + Show Post

So tonight pending a second walk thru with my son and my dad I am planning on making an offer on ahouse.  Then the whole wait to see if they accept it or counter offer and go from there, and than getting to deal with the bank and hoping everything goes smoothly, I just am not looking forward to it!!  I know in the end I will be happy but getting to that point is something I am definitely not looking forward to!

I ended up not making an offer on the one I was looking at.  When I was leaving it from looking at it the second time I saw a guy I went to hs with lived next door.  So I talked to him about the house and he said that it had some foundation issues and roof issues (they just put the new one on top of the old rotted roof) so I decided to pass.

Oh wow.

I am so glad you got the inside info before making an offer.

Are you continuing to look or are you going to take a house hunting break?

Ours was a piece of cake. So it really took me by surprise how stressful it was for my sister. I hope it goes better for you!

I'm going to keep looking, there is just isn't much to choose from right now in the area I want to be in.
