See what CafeMoms are saying about saving time this holiday season..
Have any of you gone to see this yet or are you planning to? Its there from Saturday, February 2 - Sunday, May 12. This is what the science center website says about the exhibit:
Imagine, an exhibition that took 67 million years to create.
Discovered in the cliffs of the Cheyenne River in western South Dakota, Sue is the largest, most complete and best-preserved Tyrannosaurus rex ever found. Now – 67 million years after roaming the Earth – Sue is visiting SCI.
At 42 feet long and 12 feet high at the hips, Sue was one of the largest flesh-eaters to have ever inhabited the earth, and a dramatic, life-sized skeleton cast is the centerpiece of this special exhibition. Through engaging interactive exhibits, a dig pit, video footage and colorful graphics, visitors of all ages will explore how this remarkable creature interacted with its world and examine in-depth topics related to Sue, T. rex and dinosaur science.
My son and I are planning on going either this coming weekend or sometime mid March. A few of my friends went opening weekend and said that their kids loved seeing Sue!
