Yes, he's a desert tortoise. When it gets late into the summer, he starts coming out more and more. This morning I kept hearing a really weird scraping sound, and I realized he was banging his shell on the back door and scraping himself back and forth. Then late in the afternoon he came back up to the back door and waited for us. We let him in and he paced around the living room, went to the playroom, then came out of the playroom with Batman taking a ride on his shell. It totally cracked me up.
