Me too. It is expensive here but we are in Lorton so we can hop on the Metro train and spend a day at the Smithsonian Museums in DC.
DH does not want to move south. He is from New York state and says that he is already further south than he would like to be. Besides, he goes against traffic now(to and from work), so a move south would increase his commute substantially.

That is where we use to live. I loved it there. We live near Virginia Beach now.
