I like the Salem Fair but we didn't get a chance to go this year.

I like riding the rides and my oldest two kids are finally getting big enough to ride them with me. My dh gets sick whenever he tries to ride any of the rides.

We usually dont do fairs but we do go to the carnivals at the beach and also busch gardens!

DD and I love going to the state fair :) also local ones we like going to are the poquoson seafood festival, and the pirate festival in Hampton.

Salem Fair :) or we go to Ncs fair since Nc is in our backyard.

I normally only go to the Wine and Craft Festival.  And when we have the extra money for it we go to the town fireman's carnival and the warren county fair.

VA Renaissance Faire -- usually starts around May each year.  This was 2011 because we missed it this year:(  But it is tons of fun and, although we are geeks and go dressed in garb, you certianly can go in just plain old regular clothes:)

I love going to the pirate festival in Hampton, the kids love seeing the pirate ships!

Chesapeake jubilee in may. Fair food(yum!) Not bad prices and lots of rides and games!

The state fair is always great but I love my county fair in James City County, you see a lot of people you know unlike the state fair there are hundreds of strangers but here I can sit back and relax with my friends while the kids are having fun together.
