Cost of living in Ohio.

Do you feel like you are getting a good deal, living in Ohio? I was watching House Hunters ( secret pleasure lol) and it's crazy how much it costs to live in Boston or New York. What do you think?

I think it's not amazing, but it could definitely be worse! We got a great deal on our house in NW Ohio though.

I think that we are paying a good price for our house. In Boston, it would be ten times the price. Lol I don't know how people can afford it there!

It's not awful. I know some places in other states are worse off than we are. But it could be better like others have said. It's good enough to where I am able to stay home with my kids, but the main reason for that is daycare is outrageous in price!

I think it's pretty reasonable depending on the area. I have family in Texas and I think their homes are pretty over-priced.

Its not bad, a decent house costs 60 grand. but the gas is 3.80 right now. There isn't to many decent jobs around either.

 Our house was a great deal but if we'd try and re-sell now we'd get crap for it. Also I don't think the job market pays very well.

I pay a decent amount for rent. I live NE. Yea, New York and Boston.....too rich for my blood. Lol.

Houses are a bit more expensive here around Columbus, but our gas is the same. 8(

A decent house around here starts at about  $120k, most are about $140k or more.  Gas is too high, and I've noticed everything else is going up from groceries to fast food to clothes.  :(
