Is anyone a fan of musicals?

I just watched the new extended trailer for Les Miserable. I am really excited to see it. But I LOVE musicals.

Do any of you like musicals (either live or in movies)?

Which are your favorites?

I saw Annie when my kids were younger. We went to Play house square and saw HairSpray.. I thought it was a show, it was a musical. I would love to see more. There have been some really cool one at the Playhose Square in Cleveland, Ohio...

I like live theater, but I am also a sucker for a movie musical.

I know Rock of Ages didnt do well in the box office, but I enjoyed it. I really want to see it live one day too.

I live some of them as long as they are fairly fast paced. I saw Wicked live and it was great.

 I'm not a big fan of musicals but I did enjoy The Sound of Music.

I do. I'm more of an old school musical type. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Singing in the Rain, My Fair Lady... just to name a few. Some more modern ones: Chicago, Moulin Rouge, The Producers, and Wicked.
