Do you have a tree or trees that will need raked this year?

We used to have a huge Oak tree that shed leaves for months at our old rental. The house we have now has a tree but it usually gets all of it's leaves off pretty quick which makes keeping the yard raked easier.

We live out in the country so we keep the leaves in its natural cycle of being mulch for the trees, as well as compost as it breaks down.

If you have a mower with a collector bag you could mulch them up and collect them at the same time...then just empty the bag on your compost pile or garden. Easier than raking! Especially on a windy day, lol.

I have 2 huge trees side by side and one on the other side of the yard. Usually it takes a couple hours to get them raked up.. I find that its easier to cheat sometimes and use the lawn mower and bagger!!!

We have several huge trees, that drop a ton of leaves. We always have lots of raking to do.
