Me and my bestie erin disagree on the right word when it comes to caffeinated drinks like diet coke, pepsi, and such. I say pop she says soda. What do you say? I want to prove that more people say pop over soda.

I grew up in Ohio and always said Pop. My husband's job moved us to Florida where it is Soda. I have said Pop a few times here & people just look at me weird & say you must be from the North!

it's pop.unless your like VERY old because the original 'pop' came from soda founatains. did your fiend ever spend time in the south? the more southern you go the name changes. from pop to soda pop to soda until everythings a coke, even pepsi.
