Seasonal depression - it is that time of year.

All the holidays are over, my son's birthday is done. Now there is that stretch to valentine's day that always seems so cold and dark. I struggle to avoid seasonal depression around this time every year. Do you? How do you combat it?

I suffer from SAD (Seasonal Adaptive Disorder).  I take medication and I crochet like crazy.

I take vitamin D. I've been told sad happens because you lack vitamin D that you normally get from sunshine...it helps me quite a bit :)

I try to make lots of small plans spaced near together. Like a play date or having friends over.
