What do punishments look like in your house?

Time out they stand in front of the door. If they aren't listening close to bed time they start losing stories. Somtimes they go to bed early. Just depends on what they are doing and how they have acted the whole day.

He isn't 3 yet so pretty basic. Usually a diversion, a scolding, etc.

not big into spanking but he has had a light swat on the butt when really into something and has been told he needed to stop.

With my oldest, we only have to threat a time out or taking away of toys and he corrects himslef. Only very rarely do we actually have to punish him. My youngest will be 2 in a couple weeks and we do timeouts with him.

We play it by ear a lot like this.

I stand my 3yo in a corner. It really seems to be effective. LOL
