The only national park we've ever been to is Yellowstone. I'm trying to covince Dh to take us all to the Rocky Mountain National Park for a camping weekend!

This is us in Yellowstone before Dd was born:

Our favorite state one is Rifle Falls near Rifle, CO.  We love to go camping there and it is beautiful.

My favorite National Park in Colorado is Mesa Verde National Park.  I don't have any pictures of it though because I visited it when I was a kid.  I hope to go with DH and the kids sometime though.

Where is that?  Is it by the town of Eagle?

Yes.  I seriously underestimated our drive time the first time we went.  On the map, it looked like a 3-ish hour drive.  In reality, it was more like 5, LOL.  We had to pitch camp in the dark.  But it was a beautiful weekend trip and we love going up there.

It is very easy to underestimate driving time in the mountains that is for sure.  I will have to look into this park.  It is only about an hour and a half or maybe and hour and 45 minutes from us and we are always looking for new places to go camping!

I haven't been to Mesa Verde since I was a pre-teen.  Definitely a place I want to see again and take my kiddos to.

Eleven mile canyon is a great place. We go up there to hike and for picnics.
