What type of school does your kids go to?

 Public? Private? Christian? Homeschool? Other?

 

We homeschool and I have noticed a lot of other mom's do too! If you homeschool, what do you use? Like K12 or whatever...

DD is in the public school system. DS goes to a Christian school. They are better then the schools in Texas so we are happy.

I home school using A Beka's video program.

DS is too young right now, but we are looking at a non-traditional exploratory learning school for him. That would be our first choice, but they only allow very few kids in each year. I also want to get his IQ tested when he's a bit older to see if we can get him into a gifted school here in Aurora that's rated one of the top in the state. You have to have an IQ over 140 though, so we will see.  If both of those fail, we will probably do half day at the elementary school across the street and half day home school in the afternoon.

Bean isn't in school yet. I work with him. We are looking at a charter school once he starts.

My daughter attends a public high school and my son attends JCOS (jeffco open school) which while public is run differently than the other schools in the district.

 DS1 goes to the preschool program in the church up the street. DS2 is too young for school yet but we will do the same for him until they are old enough to attend public school
