I nursed him down, and he woke up shortly after so I broke my rule and nursed him back down. But I considered it part of the same session since he slept so little. Then he woke up once and got mad at me and rolled off into his toddler bed (which is right up against our bed) and didn't wake up until 5:30! I got him back to sleep around 6 and he slept until almost 8.
