My daughter went to a slumber party and got snowed in!

Her friend lives about 30 minutes away near Genessee and the girl's parents have decided that since it's snowing hard there and even the snow plows are slipping and sliding that it's best that all of the girls spend a second night.

I just heard from DD, they're busy making curry and drinking hot chocolate.

LOL - My first thought was that I hope these parents are prepared for a gaggle of teenaged, hollow-legged girls!

They eat a lot, I'm thinking. Coen can put it away on occasion and somebody asked him if he had a hollow leg, as in "where do you put it all?"

Yes, that's what it means.  Kind of the same thing as, "bottomless pit."
