VBAC Info

I'm wondering if any of you ladies have recommendations on links, reading, info on VBAC's. My midwife gave me some medical journal reading but I swear it's so dry I can't even focus on it (about every 4th word is littered with statistics and numbers). Just thought I'd ask :) thanks!

Also, I really liked general birth resources when I was preparing for my HBAC (and before, just after my birth trauma) and I liked Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, and this especially:

Thanks louzannalady for your quick response, you as always are amazing :) Sadly I've already checked the links you provided so I'm up to speed on the majority of that. Though I admit I really need to find that video you suggest "The Business of Being Born." Just wondering if there's more I should know. I am part of the VBAC group on CM, but if I'm honest I find trying to find resources and information on their group rather difficult. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? The info I have found seems to be a bit old.

ApachePunk - I've hears great things about Inya May. I will definitely check out that link. Thanks!

There's a great book called "Silent Knife."  It's about preventing c-sections.  FABULOUS READ!  And even though it was written in the 1980s, a lot of the info there is still quite current...

http://birthwithoutfearblog.com/ Another GREAT site! The lady who started it, January, has had c-sections, VBAC's and homebirths! : ) She's done it all and is proud of each birth- as she should be! : ) She is the one who inspired me to start this group! : )

We also have a bit of fun in our Facebook group. And have some midwives, a chiropractor and a nurse and some doulas.  Have you gone there, yet? : )
