Here is a lot of information on cloth diapering. I have listed them by style and put various YouTube videos up, so you can kind of walk through how each of them work. : ) Feel free to add input. I'm new and just started a week ago! Lol!

POCKET DIAPERS

Here is info on how pocket diapers work. That is the style I have tried first. It is super easy to use. The only down side, is you need to wash the cover and insert every single time.

HYBRID DIAPERS

This is a "hybrid". There is no stuffing an insert, like with the pockets. You just place it under the two tabs and put it on baby. The good thing about this type of diaper is that you just pull the insert for washing, you just wipe out the cover with a baby wipe, place a new insert and put it back on baby.

PREFOLD DIAPERS

Here is info on how to use a prefolded diaper. A prefold has the three panels and you need to do some folding when using it. It is also usually a sized diaper. Meaning, you have to buy more as the baby grows. But, they are around $2 a peice, which is not too bad for expense. The also last a VERY long time and you can use them easily across multiple children. Again, with the wrap, you can just wipe it and reuse it, like with the hybrids above, which saves on the machine washing for them, which means they will last longer than a cover that is machine washed every single time (like with pockets).

FITTEDS

And, lastly you can turn the prefold diaper in something called a fitted (or you can buy them as fitteds). It is nice, because, you don't have to fold it. It dries very quickly. Is still durable for a long time, like the prefolded and can be used across multiple children. Again, you just wipe out the cover (if it's just pee) and throw them back on baby. : )
