So he comes home from work yesterday and says I quit my job! I'm like ok. He was like I start my training to go underground tomorrow!!!!! :) HE GOT THE JOB!!!!!! YAY!!!!! This is such a relief on both of us!! Now we are not so stressed out. He is there training today!! I don't know how long training is but hopefully he will be placed in a mine by Monday!! As promised though I will be going back to school in January to finish my degree...and my dad's g/f is going to babysit gavyn while I do it so we won't have to pay for daycare!! :)
He is going to be one busy man though. Travis's dream is to be a firefighter one day (a paid one that is) before he moved up here he was on the volunteer fire department at home and tonight he has to go down to the fire house here to join their voulunteer team! Everything is looking up for us! Its almost too good to be true but I am so thankful that it is happening!!

He actually took a traveling job which kinda stinks but offers more money. which makes it worth it. the plus side is he only leaves the area about 10% of the time for a week at a time. the majority of his work is in the area!

He doesn't like the job at all but it pays really good money so thats why he sticks with it....all he does underground is throw bags of concrete (he said probably around 22 skids a night) and the bags weigh 45 pounds or so...he comes home complaining all the time about his back hurting and stuff...so i know it sucks for him but i am so blessed that we have someone in our life that will go through h*ll for his family!
