I have had this damn song in my head for a week. I hear it every night. I've tried listening to it to get it out of my system. I've tried listening to other things. It's still there.

So I'm thinking outside the box. When I first heard this song way back when... I had a vision with it.

I'll add the video in case you need it.Even now it gives me chills. At the end it tells of a group who walks into the sea rather than being burned as witches. Now you may choose whether to believe me or not, but during my vision I saw myself as one of the witches who chose to walk into the sea, hand in hand with my sisters.

What I want to know is if these are just lyrics or an actual historic event? And if a historical event, I'd like to see the records.

There are parts of this song in my head.  It's when they are chanting to the Goddess.  Powerful song!

It certainly is powerful, and there could be worse songs stuck in my head. But after a week I'm like, enough already! lol

wow, powerful. maybe the writer/s of the song was inspired by the inquisition and had a vision of thier own.

I'm grateful the description on youtube had the lyrics. I found another version after reading some of the comments there.
It's sung by a man and I think I like that version more.
I like history and what you said I might have read about somewhere.
