Do you keep your kids outgrown clothes for the next baby or younger sibling?

Or do you buy brand new clothes for the younger siblings?

Dd is only two but I have a hard time letting go of her clothes lol. So they're all stored for the next baby!

We sell or donate it. We only have one child and there won't be any more.

1 mom liked this

mine are 18 months apart and usually a size apart from each other or in the same size, so it goes from closet A to closet B to the goodwill.

I keep some of the older ones clothes. They are just two years apart.

No younger ones to save for, but we have passed along lots of clothes to cousins and friends who are younger. The rest gets donated to the Kid's Closet at her school.

I kept most of my clothes from my son. I mean a huge tub full. I had another baby it was a girl! So.... I ended up picking out the gender neutral peices and garage saling the rest. Now, if my son outgrows things I give it to a neighbor if they have smaller kids. If my daughter out grows things I send them to my neice. However, sometimes I will pass down pj's to her from my son, so she does walk around in boy pj's sometimes but she doesn't care :)

I keep everything. And a friend of mine and I trade stuff back and forth. I have stuff for her daughter to grow into and she has stuff for my younger daughter. Then we give it back for the next kid when we are done with it.
