When will you allow your daughter to wear make up?

Is there an age when you will allow it or will it be more about their attitude and how mature they are?

I don't know for sure, I guess it will just depend on reasons behind it and such. 7th-8th grade we'll talk about it. At that point it would probably only be mascara and liner, maybe foundation. I started wearing in 7th grade but I had just gotten over a terrible case of the chicken pox and had scars all over my face so the foundation boosted my confidence in myself.

I was 16 before I was allowed to wear make up. I don't wear it much now but I don't think I'll wait until 16 to allow my daughter to wear make up. That seems too long.

No idea...i never wore (and still dont) wear make up. I honestly hope they dont get into that lmao

 I allowed mine to start out with lip gloss and a little mascara in middle school.

 I started wearing it when I was in JR. high. I wore a full face. Not heavy though.

My dd is only 5, so I haven't given it much thought. Definitely not before she gets to middle school.

 I was in 7th grade (about 13) when my mom started letting me wear a little.  I will probably do the same thing with my daughter.  She is 10 now so we still have a few years left before that starts LOL.

I was 12, so she can at 12 but limited. I just wore powder(don't know why), and lipstick. She already wears lipgloss and I am fine with that. I need to teach her how to do her eyeshadow because it looks horrible when she does it. haha
