Clothing Your Kids Challenge Day 11: Rainy Days

Investing in a rain coat and rain boots for your kids is a smart move especially for school aged kids (or toddlers who seem to find every puddle). Wet feet or clothes from a soggy bus stop or walk to school could leave your kids chilly and uncomfortable while at school. Today's challenge is to invest in some rain gear for your kids!

Do your kids have a rain coat or rain boots? If so, do they think it's fun to wear their rain gear? If not, what do your kids typically wear on a rainy day?

I bought her a pair of rain boots, but she's never worn them yet.  She had a raincoat when she was younger.

They used to. They wore it so much it all got holes and rips. I haven't bought more, it doesn't rain much here. They need warm things more than waterproof things, lol.

My son has rain boots but only has wore them once. We forget to put them on him.

They just wear jackets with hoodies on them and gym shoes, no flip flops/sandals like I do. haha

They both have rain coats, we don't wear them much.

They both have a rain coat.  I use to buy them rain boots and umbrellas, but they loose them every single year.  So, they just do the coats now and seem just fine with that.

She takes an umbrella. Rain showers here are frequent, but don't last long, and then it's warm and humid again, so raincoats and rainboots aren't really needed.

No they don't.  They just wear regular coats, shoes, and jackets.

They typical;y just wear their regular clothes on a rainy day. Although they sometimes wear their rain boots and coats.
