Do your kids have multiple coats?

My kids have one main heavy coat and multiple lightweight jackets and hoodies, I have noticed at the school I teach at some kids have like 3-4 different heavy coats and I work at a very low income school.

Are my kids just the odd ones?

Yep, dd has her heavy winter coat, a thinner fleece jacket and quite a ew sweatshirts/sweaters...im kind of addicted to gap sweatshirts so when i find a good deal i buy a few sizes. Ds just has his snowsuit.

My dd has one coat and one lightweight jacket.

Yes, DD has 3 coats/jackets.

 We have multiple coats/sweaters/jackets/hoodies.

DD has one super heavy coat for when it's snowing and negative degrees outside, then she has about 4 pull overs, 2 hoodie zipups, and abotu 3 cardigan type sweaters.

DS has one super heavy coat, 5 hoodies, and 2 light jackets.

Most we've gotten through handmedowns or on sale in previous years.

My dd ends up with a ton of light jackets & 3-5 heavy coats. I can not figure out why my mil insists on buying so many. We live in Houston & don't need them.

 My kids have one heavy winter coat, one zip-up hoodie, and one windbreaker. They do have pullover hoodies and sweatshirts that they like to wear as regular shirts.

Yeah DD does at least. DS has one heavy coat and several hoodies

I only do one coat per season per kid... they grow out of them so fast, I just can't justify buying multiple ones!
