What NOT to Say to Your Spouse

Posted by   + Show Post

Often our spouses know the exact words to set us off and use them
just to tick us off!

What's the one thing your man says that most annoys you?  What's the one thing you can say to your SO that makes him crazy?

We have been (happily) together for so long, we know what things would annoy the other, and we don't say/do them.

DH hates the word "whatever".

I hate when he goes quiet.

When he says something along the lines of me crying about whatever were fighting about, like im feeling sorry for myself. That sets me off.

if either of us get mad we will call each other by our first names instead of baby or sweetheart, lol

I'm sure that there are things that we say that irritate each other, but we don't purposefully snipe at each other.

My DH often just says nothing at all... sometimes he's not listening and sometimes he just gets this 'deer in the headlights' look and is too terrified of actual conversation to say anything at all. After 15 years together, he still won't talk to me!

We both say "whatever" and we're both annoyed by it.
