Who else is broke after the holidays?

We are and it really sparks my anxiety. DH is trying to get overtime, but it's hard to come by this time of year. I'll be teaching Kindermusik soon, but so far I only have 2 families enrolled which only comes to $90 for the month. Hopefully I get more students signed up after a few weeks. I hope we can get back on track soon!

i was gone from work for 6 weeks due to having my gal bladder removed so my check for commission was so small that we barely could get gifts .. i hear ya

Yes, but I am sure its not as bad as most people.  We used to be like that, but then DH and I decided if we don't have the money for Christmas it wasn't going to happen.

I have saved some money by making my own gifst.  I have learned to sew in 2012.  I found a ton of fabric on Freecycle :).

We're ok but a bit tight will be the next paycheck for me having 2 weeks off for Christmas time is great it's not great on my paycheck so the next few months will be hard. This is the time of year I have to start saving for summer to make my mortgage payments. I don't work the summer months.So it becomes tough in the next 4 months or so.
