Just out of curiosity, how many of us came from broken homes?

Nope. My parents have been married for almost 32 yrs. Got married when they were 19 when their parents thought they were too young. My grandparents are about to celebrate 60yrs of marriage. (my moms parents) when my dad was 7 his dad passed away. His mom remarried a few years later. Still married when my grandfather passed away last thanksgiving.

Happy Anniversary! Well done! We hit 8 years in 2012. :-) It feels like we got past some of the hardest years and we've come along way.

Us too. We've had some hurdles but i couldn't imagine a better partner to work together with to reach my goals. And raise of 4 kids. 1 who isn't biologically his but chose to start dating me while i was pregnant and adopted her after we got married when her bio fathered abandoned her. So our relationship was never kid free.

Yes my parents are divorced
They got divorced when I was 9.
My dad left my mom 3 days after she buried her father.
My dad has excellent timing (not).

Yes BUT I was only 9 months old when it happened. My mom remarried when I was 2 & my stepdad adopted me a year later. That is the man I grew up knowing as dad. And my parents are still married today! 35 years this past December!
