My kids are 5 and 1, they go to bed the same time every night. They dont sleep in when they stay up late, they just get grumpy the next day.

My kids are 6 and 4 and we go to bed at the same time every night.  I want my 6 year old to keep his schedule for when he goes back to school on Monday.

8 is the goal, but DH tends to let them stay up later.  9 at the latest.

The 4yr old, same time. The 9yr old gets an extra hour and the teen can go to sleep when she wants.
