My son turned 3 in October and I think its time to start getting him into a school. I DO NOT want a daycare.
My understanding is that since cut off is in September, DS will have to attend school a year later than most of the kiddos.
Can anyone help me figure out if I can get him into school for the 2013-2014 school year?
I know our public school has a preschool section. I think it started at age 3 and up. They went 3 days a week for half a days and it was free. It was like regular school for them. My daughter went and loved it.
for the 2013-2014 school year wouldn't your son start at age 3 and end at 4? he would be in preschool not kinder. talk to the school about the 2014-2015 yr, he will be 4 for the first month of school then turn 5. if he does well in preschool maybe they will let the school know, then he can start k in 2014-2015? i started when i was 6 - my mom thought i was too little to be with all the other big kids lol!
Preschool I think. My dd was in preschool at 4 into 5 years old.

Out where I am one has to be at least 5 if not 6 ..
