I say keep it honest and don't just have one talk but keep it an open dialog that evolves as they get older.

Sex is a very open subject in our home. I prefer it that way. Our kids can, and do come to us about anything and everything.

when me son is ready and wants to ask me things I will be as honest about it and give age appropriate information

This exactly we need kids to understand sex isnt shameful or something you should jump into
