Get in a better frame of mind

Professional art framing is pretty darn expensive, but Richter has found a clever way to keep the cost down. "I buy vintage frames at flea markets and yard sales," he says. "If it is a bit too large for the piece of art, bring it to your local frame shop; they can cut it down to fit and it will cost you about 10 percent of what an entirely new frame would."

Great tip! I see them often, usually with an ugly picture still in them, but that could be removed.

I have done this often & threw away the ugly print in it.

 I love frames in all shapes and sizes. Picking them up cheap is a great way. :)
