My mom taught me to never give up and that someone somewhere always has it worse than you.

My mom taught me how to be a good mom, but I'm not sure I can live up to how good of a mom she is.

 What not to do with your children if you want them to have good self esteem. I did the opposite of what she did with us growng up and my girls have AMAZING confidence in themselves.

The exact oppositive of what I taught her: not to argue.

I'm argumentative by nature... she's not. I taught her to stand up for herself. She taught me to sit still and listen :D
