Whether it's inspiring confidence or showing us the value of a hard day's work, dads play an important role in shaping the people we become.

What lesson do you remember most from your dad?

My Dad taught me EVERYTHING I know about hard work and integrity in the work place. He taught me to never ever give up on my dreams and to ALWAYS work harder than those around me.

I lost my dad in 08 due to cancer so I remember everything he taught me!

If they are stuck in their ways and 'machista' in their ways, they hurt more than help.their kids, my brother and I don't have positive thoughts of him.

Everything!  He was patient and kind and hopefully that rubbed off on me.

The biggest lesson my dad taught me is that.. love is not always unconditional....even when it should be.

He taught me how to think, confront conflicts, and solve problems. Most of all he was integral in the construction of my self-esteem.

My fave quotes of is are: "He who loses it first loses" and "Who is the idiot? The idiot or the one who stays with the idiot?" As well as "Never put cheese on my grill. Ever. It's a Weber."

OMG, babe. I just want to hug you. You know my mom was just diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. I have no idea how you live without your dad. I would be so lost.

Not much, I didn't have the best dad.

I guess he taught me the value of hard work and saving money.
