"dump truck boon bye bye"

The tiny black dot in the clouds is his dump truck balloon. this was less than a minute after o told him not to take it outside.

He is only 2. He stood outside and cried for a few minutes and now he is watching chuck and friends on DVD.

I'm hoping it's nap time.

the entire point of balloons on strings is to teach kids when not to let go...

1 mom liked this
I was working on that. I had to feed the baby and while i was doing that he went outside with it.

My plan was to take him outside with it after i fed the baby, but clearly that didn't happen.

This is why i only buy balloons at the dollar store.

My 5 year old still lets a few slip a year. I think I have even as an adult.

I just felt bad because he didn't realize letting go meant it was gone forever. I told him it went to outer space to visit the moon. 2 nights ago he wanted to go to the moon and i was trying toexplain why he couldn't right then.

And this is only the beginning of this kind of thing for us. What the heck an i going to do when he has a really hard question for me to answer!
