Ask in person and I have to meet the person first

I agree with Chuck all the way. If you live in a
home where you see respect you will want this
for yourself. Hopefully you have role models
in your life that have showed and taught you
to act like a young lady or gentleman. Kids today
are trying to be popular and doing things that
are not appropriate.

thankfully my dd is only 5 and I don't have to worry about this for awhile but I agree with his rules. If a boy wants to ask her out he can CALL her and he will definitely have to meet dh first.

I definitely think that kids are much more likely to behave in ways that they see so if they see good and healthy relationships around them they will strive for and work towards that hopefully.

I agree and for the first couple dates make it a group date with other friends if you do not know this person well yet.

Quoting IncognitoOne:

I agree with him.

Don't text someone to ask for a date/don't go on a date with someone who won't ask you face to face.

You don't go anywhere alone with anyone unless I've met them.

Be gentlemen, respect your date, pay her way/Don't date guys who don't respect you, he should pay for your date...if he doesn't it should be the last date.
