I want him to know that I love, honor and cherish him and family , to say that even though I been through difficult times in my life I am a great mother, and lover.

I actually disagree with them: you need to appreciate yourself for what you value, it's no one else's job. Expecting them to is putting in an order for disappointment.

Besides, why is it bad for someone to appreciate something about you that isn't on the top of your list?

I want my husband to appreciate life, and to be genuinely happy. If that involves him appreciating me, I'm cool with that, but it's not on the list of things I need.

I like that thought. Wanting him to love me at my worst.
Quoting Miranda1127:

IDK, there is nothing specific. I suppose just to love me at my worst/weakest. I also don't love something SPECIFIC about him. I think it's kind of weird to love something specif about your spouse.
