At a very busy public park.
Is this okay to you?
Does the breed of dog make a difference?

at at busy park, no, I hold my dogs leash... although one of them I don't take to anything busy.

my little neighborhood parks, I tie them to the equipment. Then these are parks we are usually the only family at. I haven't done that in quite some time now as my kids no longer need me to follow them around.

No, the equipment is for the kids I would hold onto my dog.

No. It shouldn't be done at a playground. No matter what the breed, you never know what could happen. A ton of kids running around screaming could startle ANY dog, causing it to bite..maybe the dog tries to move out of the way and a child trips over it. Too many bad things waiting to happen.

When I bring the dog along to the playground I sit with him on a bench out of the way of kids playing.

The play grounds here are supposed to be dog free.

I don't think it's okay to do that though

We do this all the time but he is a super friendly chihuhu and it's never been a problem. If I think he's bothering someone I will move him and we always keep him close to us.
