So you'd rather leave your baby in a soggy diaper than accept cloth diapers from me??

Poll

Question: Would you have accepted the cloth diapers?

Options:

Honestly, I wouldn't. I'd find another way.

If I was out of diapers and had no money, I would.

I already use cloth :-)

I was talking to my neighbor yesterday and she was complaining that she was running super low on diapers. I don't have much money so I offered to loan her my old stash. (My youngest is 7 so I don't use them anymore) She wrinkled her nose then said, "No thanks." "These diapers are super absorbable so she can stay in them for a long time."

I was just floored. Here is a woman who is a stay at home mom with a washer and a dryer- hell, I'd wash them for her if it was a big deal- who would rather leave her baby in a soggy diaper than use cloth. What is wrong with people?

If I were desperate I would definitely accept the offer.

That's what I was thinking too. I understand cloth not being everyone's first choice. But if it's that or nothing, who chooses nothing?

I will not have a temper tantrum nor stomp across the floor.

I will not pout, scream or shout or kick against the door.

I will not throw my food around nor pick upon another.

I’ll always try to be real good because I am the mother.

I am the mother.

I am the mother.

It's definitely not my thing but if I were desperate and had none I would. She's just pathetic.

Exactly!

I remember using a t shirt and a grocery bag a few times with my oldest. As a mom you suck it up and do what you got to do.

I've been lucky and have been able to get some help buying them a few years ago. But you do what you gotta do when it comes to your kids.

Drives me nuts though >:-/

I used sposies with my oldest and some for my middle. But once I discovered decent cloth diapers I never looked back! Sooo much better and the best part is, I never ran out, lol.

When I first had my son I was broke as could be but I rarely talked to the neighbors so they had no way of knowing that. The woman across the street brought a huge bag of clothes and stuff over and there were a few cloth diapers mixed in. It took me a while to even figure out what it was (they were fitted with the flatdiapers to go in them). Those diapers saved me so many times when I ran out of diapers on Tuesday or Wednesdays and my paycheck didn't hit the bank until Thursday. I couldn't use cloth full time but they definitely were a lifesaver when I had them.
